Repairs and Maintenance

At Lake District Coliving, we strive to maintain a well-functioning and comfortable living space for all residents. To ensure timely and efficient handling of maintenance issues, please follow the guidelines below.

Scheduled Maintenance and Inspections

  • Routine maintenance checks may be carried out periodically.

  • Advance notice will be given before any scheduled inspections or maintenance work.

  • Tenants are expected to allow reasonable access to their rooms for essential repairs and servicing.

Emergency Repairs

  • If a repair poses an immediate danger (e.g., gas leaks, flooding, or fire hazards), evacuate the area and contact emergency services before notifying management.

  • Emergency repair requests will be prioritised and handled as quickly as possible.

Appliance and Fixture Maintenance

  • Report any malfunctioning appliances (e.g., washing machines, stoves, heating systems) promptly.

  • Do not attempt to repair major appliances yourself.

  • Keep shared appliances clean and in good working order.

Reporting Maintenance Issues

  • Any issues related to plumbing, heating, electrical systems, appliances, or structural concerns should be reported as soon as possible.

  • For non-urgent repairs, submit a maintenance request via hello@watchthisspace.property

  • Provide a clear description of the issue, including location and any relevant details.
